Stupid Hosting Problems

Okay so as you guys know, I've been hosted. I am not telling you my site or host yet, but I will when I get it up. IF I ever get it up! :@ Like honestly, theres so many problems its not even funny. My host has been unbelievably patient and helpful, but she too is confused my my problems. I'll try to explain them.

Hmm, where to start. Well first of all my site, my host's site, and any of my host's other hostees sites will not work on my computer. Every time I type them in, they take forever to load, and then it says that it cannot display the webpage. Every single time. Any other sites work though. My FTP does not work either, (and I've tried two different kinds, SmartFTP and CoffeeCupFTP) but online FTP works. Even when I change the pages, the sites do not work. And They work on any other computer. They work for my host, and I tried on my dads computer and at school and it worked fine. I am getting so frusterated though. Does anyone know what I can do? I really want to get my site up, but I just cant!

Anyways, I am kindof like doubting myself with hosting now. Part of me wants to just give up and stay with freewebs, while part of me wants to move to hosting. Only because I am so frigging frusterated!!
